Hello everyone! I am thrilled to finally launch this new space. While many of you know me through my work in policy research and disability advocacy, this column is designed to be a creative departure—a place where we can dive deep into the arts, history, and the various threads of culture that connect us.
As a writer, singer, and improviser, I’ve always been fascinated by the history of the performing arts and the evolution of creative expression. My goal is to share that passion with you here every Monday and Wednesday. We will explore everything from music and fashion to art history and contemporary culture.
This is intended to be a community-driven space, so I would love to hear your thoughts. What historical eras fascinate you? Are there specific artists or cultural movements you’d like to see featured? Please leave your suggestions in the comments below.
